As Tefe, quite literally, returns to her roots, her mother Abby Holland confronts Mary's
parents about the truth of her daughter. Tefe finds herself returned to the Green, and as she
readapts she learns that the Council Of Trees has been destroyed and that her peers are in the midst
of a war against the humans.
As a young child, unable to comprehend the power she inherited from her father Alex Holland - The Swamp Thing,
Tefe was on the verge of destroying the world. In order to stop her rampent powers from wrecking havok, the Hollands
called on John Constantine to help them. Knowing that Tefe was simply too powerful to destroy, John wiped her memory and
then the Swamp thing rearranger her features to make her look like the critically ill Mary.
Mary's parents refuse to believe Abby's story about their daughter and sent her packing, Tefe meanwhile rejects the
Green's offer to fight with them and instead decides to go her own way.
