Constantine For PC ?

According to Dutch site Gamer.NL, SCi Games have confirmed that a PC version of Constantine is currently in the works.

Voice Talent Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, THQ and SCi today announced the talent line-up secured for the Constantine videogame, which is based on the upcoming film from Warner Bros. Pictures, set for release in February 2005, and the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels.

Keanu Reeves, Tilda Swinton, Gavin Rossdale and Max Baker have their likeness recreated in this explosive third person action game. Players will be able to assume the title role of the film's protagonist John Constantine (Reeves) in the game.

Gamespot First Look

Gamespot have a first look glance at the PS2 version of Constantine -

Our demo gave us a look at the computer-generated effects that will move the storyline and gameplay forward. The CG effects, while still in early phases of development, serve up atmospheric visuals, in addition to revealing a nicely rendered virtual Keanu Reeves. The narrative will play out via CG movies that show off key moments from the story. Furthermore, in-game cinematics will set up the action in various levels.

The actual gameplay makes use of a standard objective-based third-person approach. The core game seems pretty solid. Constantine will have a simple set of moves that covers the action hero basics. He'll be able to get around, and he can shoot his foes, like any good protagonist. Your arsenal will include such useful items as the crucifier, the holy shotgun, and the shroud of Moses. THQ To Publish Constantine

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- THQ and SCi Entertainment Group have signed an exclusive agreement naming THQ the North American publisher for the "Constantine" video game, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, and based on the Warner Bros. Pictures film. The game is scheduled to be released for the PlayStation® 2 computer entertainment system and Xbox® video game system from Microsoft in February 2005 in conjunction with the film's release.
